Egali-Darwinists
"The world is neither fair, nor kind. We cannot make people be kind, but we can make it fair."
—Anonymous Egali-Darwinist, darkweb post
Overview
A radical grassroots movement that arose in the wake of the return of superhumans. They subscribe to a philosophy of equal opportunity for all, and that prosperity should go to those who earn it. These ideas have some support even outside the movement itself, but the practical outcomes have thus far defied what most people call desirable.
Spurred on by Hyena, they started a revolution in Centropolis to enact their beliefs. After the revolution's failure, stray elements remain, but large-scale activity has not been seen since.
Key Members
- Leader: None (technically), Hyena (functionally)
Operations
-
Headquarters: None (Decentralized)
-
Area of Influence: Minor scattered global and darkweb presence. Largest area of activity remains Centropolis.
Goals
- Egali-Darwinists seek to level the playing field for all, and then let evolution take its course based on individual merit, both socially and physically. Members sometimes disagree about where the line between the nature and merit is drawn, leading to varied approaches.
Relationships
- Enemies: Because their actions are destabilizing, most world governments, both democratic and authoritarian, consider the ideology a threat, and frequently associate its members with terrorists. Advocate arguments that inciting fear or violence has nothing to do with their goals have largely gone ignored.

Notes
- Social commenters have likened the practical implications of their beliefs to a kudoku box
