Overview
Matryoshka is a relatively new figure on the supervillain scene, beginning with a string of robberies before working up to more bold actions.
Description
Matryoshka is a strong woman with strong features, bearing long dark dreadlocks. She is typically clad in pseudo-military battlefield garb, though often eschews a shirt beneath her armored vest. Her smaller selves are less large, but no less bold.
Origin Story
Her thick accent makes clear she is not a native Centropolitan. She entered a life of crime working as a getaway driver for a foreign mafia. After one day killing the agents she was supposed to bring to safety and embezzling their stolen goods, she was summerily caught and executed. Though they could have sworn she was taller…
Someone with a similar build soon after appeared in a Centropolis beauty pageant where she took 5th, 6th, and 7th place.
Personality
While her other selves largely retain her original personality, they do on rare occasion possess unique quirks, especially when she goes more than three deep. These are as temporary as the form itself.
Powers
She is capable of creating (and later rejoing with) a clone of herself who bears all her knowledge, skills, and powers, except smaller. As with her namesake, this smaller clone can then repeat the process. While each version is progressively weaker than the last, she has become adept at dividing roles accordingly and maintains in radio contact with her other selves to coordinate. Additionally, upon remerging, she keeps all knowledge each version of herself was able to obtain.
If any of her selves are killed, the remaining ones can still remerge, though the incomplete recombination takes a significant toll.
She has a talent for handling vehicles and can act as a multi-person crew solo.
Additionally, she is exceptionally fit and a talented martial artist. While each clone inherits less and less of her raw strength, her combat skills do not diminish and she regularly practices against herself.
Equipment
She has proven adept at acquiring surplus military equipment and outfits herselves with everything from weapons to vehicles.

While she has yet to develop any long-term partnerships, Matryoshka has worked with other villains in the past.
